Your body is not a vessel that holds your blessings, but rather a river that flows through them. The waters of abundance flow smoothly only through open, deep rivers. Look at your posture: rounded shoulders are cliffs that impede the flow, while an open chest is a wide stream that welcomes all possibilities. Clenched fists are a stagnant pool; open palms are an estuary that gives and receives.
And your breath is the rhythm of the flow itself. Short, shallow breaths are a choked flow, anxious about drying up. Deep breaths, moving from the belly to expand your ribs, are a gushing confidence. They are the body's mantra: "There is enough air. There is enough time. There is enough for all." Each full inhalation is an invitation, each long exhalation a giving back.
When open posture meets trusting breath, harmony occurs. From the pelvis, solid as a riverbed, energy rises through the relaxed belly, where trust resides, to the heart, open, ready to receive and distribute. This is where you become a true conductor. Provisions are no longer inanimate objects to be grasped, but rather living energy that flows through you and then irrigates the fields around you.
Start simple. Sit up straight as if the crown of your head is supported by the sky. Take a deep breath, feel the space created within you. Then exhale, release. With each correction of posture, with each full breath, you are widening the river of your life. And the universe always honors the space that is ready to receive. It will fill it with the water of life, in forms often unexpected, but always just right. Because, truly, provision is like uninterrupted breath.
